Many dogs do some research on the surrounding environment before sleeping in a place. This is done to get an idea of whether the environment is the most suitable. Here, dogs make a decision by walking around the place a few times. This can be called a behavioral process that they mainly do. Also, one of the most unique behavioral processes that can be seen is to exchange their thoughts with their owner or with people who are close to them and to get their attention by playing with a toy that they like. Often, they bring their most valuable and favorite toy. The behavior of these dogs often confuses us.

Tennis Ball Fan

Like everyone else, Finley also showed a great interest in playing with tennis balls. Here, Filly was ahead of the others in this area of activity. Finley's owner, Shirley, stated in an interview program that "Well, really any ball, but mostly tennis balls, that's all we have."

However, Finley is different from other dogs in that he doesn't just fetch the ball. Finley takes the game to a whole new level. Finley doesn't miss a single ball even when he has a lot of balls in front of him, and according to Shirley, he likes to run around and play everywhere, holding all the balls in his mouth.

This adorable dog, Phil, knows how to play with tennis balls on his own and is able to play without human assistance. Shirley comments on this as follows:

"If we're busy doing something, he knows how to entertain himself. So when I tell him, 'Okay, go to sleep now,' he goes to the yard, and there are usually a few balls in his mouth. He lies on his back and throws them up and then throws them into his mouth - like he's playing catch with himself!"

This is so amazing and it's definitely a great comfort and joy to watch. It's so fascinating.

Finley can usually hold four to five tennis balls in his mouth at once, which is a unique ability. According to Shirley, he does it to show off his skills.
"When he has them in his mouth, he's like, 'Look at me!' He's so proud!"

On occasion, Finley has managed to hold six balls in his mouth, which has become a household name among his family.

One day, Shirley's daughter Erin joked that a dog holding six balls at once should be a record. When she researched this further, she discovered something very interesting.

Erin’s in-depth research revealed that another golden retriever in Texas had set a Guinness World Record by catching five tennis balls at once. Convinced that Finley could break the retriever’s record, Erin was so excited that she approached Guinness World Records to share her pet’s details.

The best part was that three years later, they officially recognized Finley’s achievement and sent the certificate for the most tennis balls held in a dog’s mouth to Canandaigua, New York!

Finley's family was so delighted with his talent that they invited the neighboring dogs to enjoy the joy and held a grand party. It was an honor for Finley and turned out to be the best time of his life.

Finley has another obsession besides tennis balls: his love of stuffed toys. This one, according to his mother, is used exclusively for indoor play. "When I open the door for him to come in, he'll have a ball in his mouth, and he'll immediately drop it because he knows the balls are outside and the stuffed toys are inside."

Even though this puppy was found by chance, he is very happy with his talent and his family is very proud of the Guinness records he has set. In conclusion, it can be said that Finley is a perfect puppy in terms of both cuteness and abilities.
